Charlotte County Department of Social Services provides a wide range of benefit (financial assistance) and social work programs primarily serving children, families, disabled, and the elderly of Charlotte County. Determination of eligibility for Medicaid and the Children's Medical Security Insurance Plan is one of several benefit program services provided.
